16th Annual Keep the Beat CHD Awareness Walk and Family Picnic

This year’s walk and family picnic will take place on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the main soccer field at Danvers High School in Danvers, MA! The donation portal will stay open until July 31, 2026.


2026 tentative Walk-Day Schedule:
9:30a - on-site registration and check-in begins
10:15a - Welcome: Opening remarks and pre-walk stretches;
10:30a - Heart hero ceremony and pictures;
11:00a - Walkers are encouraged to start and complete their walks; virtual walkers are encouraged to send us pictures, videos, etc.;
12-2:30p - In-person teams enjoy family picnic and activities;
* Fresh fruit, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream, cupcakes, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, water
* Face Painting; Balloon Art; Caricature art; Craft activities; vendor activities
12:40p - Heart angel remembrance ceremony;
1:20p - Curious Creatures animal show;
2:15p - Scholarship winner announcements, raffle drawing, and closing remarks.

All activities are FREE, but registration is required (Online registration will close on June 27) so we can provide enough fun for everyone.

* All CHD heroes will receive a free event t-shirt, as well as a special event medal. Siblings will also receive a special surprise.

HAPPENING IN 2026: All individuals that raise $30 or more will receive a free event t-shirt. All teams that register and raise $600 or more as a team by May 25 or $1,000 or more by June 5, 2026 will receive up to 10 event t-shirts (after you register, complete the captain's form https://forms.gle/8HWEsDcNEF5f51RE7)!!
