Arianna was first diagnosed at 4 days old with Aortic Stenosis, having her first Cardiac Catheterization at just 5 days old. At 2 weeks old she was sent back to Boston Children's after her blood pressure was elevated, and the right side of her heart was enlarged compared to the left side of her heart. During this visit Arianna was diagnosed with a variation of HLHS and Shone's Complex. After 2 Open Heart Surgeries within the first 7 months of her life, being on life support multiple times, almost 10 Cardiac Catheterizations, having a feeding tube for 3 years, needing a pacemaker, having her pulmonary valve replaced a second time, Arianna is thriving really well. Arianna continues with yearly checkups with the local Cardiologist as well as yearly follow up with the Cardiologist that manages her pacemaker.
