Ethan is a lively almost 9 year old living with a complex congenital heart defect. Ethan was diagnosed in utero with double inlet left ventricle and transposition of the great arteries. He had his pulmonary artery banding at 3 weeks old in 2016, the bidirectional Glenn with a comprehensive DKS in January of 2017, the Fontan in July of 2019, and most recently a dual chamber pacemaker in March of 2025.
