Ayana is small but mighty! She recently overcame her first open-heart surgery in May 2024.

This will be our family's first heart walk and due to Ayana's quick recovery, we are joining last minute.

Each year, 1 out of every 100 children is born with a congenital heart defect (CHD), making it the most common birth defect. 25% of these children need interventions in the first year of life to survive. Yet, funding and research is more than 5 times lower than for all childhood diseases combined and children continue to die because there are no more treatments left for them. We walk for all the 1 in 100 and to contribute towards spreading awareness on CHDs.
