After a small hiatus… Ethan is back! Ethan was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect in utero. Specifically, double inlet left ventricle with left transposition of the great arteries. He was born at 32.5 weeks gestation. Ethan had a pulmonary artery banding in August of 2016 at just 3 weeks old, he had his bi-directional Glen with a comprehensive DKS in January of 2017, and he had his Fontan done in July of 2019. Ethan is currently a lively and happy second grader that loves all things Minecraft and Ninja Turtles. Despite living his life currently in second degree heart block, that doesn’t stop him!
