Bryson was born with Dextrocardia, Corrected Transposition, DORV, and Pulmonary Stenosis. His first surgery was at 5 days old to place a stent in his PDA to make sure blood could continue to flow to his lungs. He is now 11 months old and crushing milestones like crawling, pulling to a stand, and eating a variety of solids despite the fact that his oxygen intake is only 83%. He is small but mighty! As he continues to grow, his oxygen will continue to drop. At that point, he will undergo his open heart surgery (sometime in the next 6 months). He needs a Rastelli and an Atrial Switch. His Aorta will be moved to his left ventricle and his pulmonary artery will be replaced with an artificial one. There's NO stopping what Bryson can do, so we all should be BRAVE LIKE BRYSON.
